Pour toutes les plantes médicinales, les principes actifs de médicaments, les supléments les vitamines, on trouve une synthèse de ce que l'on connait sur cette "drogue" selon le plan "Who is this for? When should I be careful taking it? What side effects should I watch for? What interactions should I watch for? Should I take it? References". Il y a aussi un petit outil qui permet de voir les contreindications entre tel produit et tel autre. On trouve aussi une synthèse pour uncertain nombre de maladies (causes possibles, traitement possible). etc. Absolument  génial.

    Encore un site très complet et très intéressant fournissant de l'information fiable. Pas facile de s'y retrouver au début, on prend vite ses marques. Je vous conseille en particulier l'Herbal Medicine Center (et son Herbal Materia Medica), l'Aromatherapy Alternative Therapy Center et sa section Therapeutic Uses of Aromatherapy).     Référence extrêmement sérieuse que j'apprécie particulièrement. Seules 45 plantes sur 186 sont accessibles en accès gratuit. Ceci dit, ce sont les plus communes en phytothérapie. Pour chaque plante le site fourni des liens vers des articles scientifiques concernant les preuves d'efficacité chez l'être humain, les effets secondaires, la toxicité, les contrindication, le domaine d'application, les preuves d'efficacité tout court et diverses informations concernant sa culture, sa géographie, des photos etc. Voir l'Achillée millefeuille par exemple.
